Aloha

I've starting getting everything ready for the honeymoon! We're going to Maui! I am so excited. I've been to Oahu, but never Maui. We're very fortunate to have good friends that live there, so we will get the hook up on all the great local things to do.

It's Springtime

It's finally starting to feel like Spring!!

And the dogs love to help me water all the flowers!

I do love this trick. We turn the hose on, just a little bit. They come to drink out of it, and then we let the water go full blast. They end up totally soaked, and then they just run laps around the yard trying to dry off. I think they like the game, as soon as they dry off they come back for more.

Tax Day

It's crazy to think that last year at this time I was completely stressed from not having a single day off for four months. The past 6 years I missed out on spring completely, working so much for tax season. And this year I look back to all the fun I've had and feel so grateful for my new job! I don't think I could have made it through another overworked season. And there's no way I would have been able to completely plan our entire wedding! Which has been the best part of this spring. And today is just an ordinary day, a normal monday. I think I like how tax day has completely lost most of it's significance.

Par

Today was a good day out on the course. I got my first Par! It was pretty amazing. I had the best tee shot ever, it landed on the green. A chip and a putt later and it was in! It must have been a lucky day. When we got home James' parents called to tell us that Jerry got a hole-in-one and was going to be featured in their papers sportspage!

Snowboarding at Brighton

For an early spring break we drove down to Utah to visit James' parents. The weather was absolutely perfect! A fresh foot of snow, almost 60 degrees, and barely a cloud in the sky. I spent most of the weekend on my butt! Since this is my first year, I'm still trying to get the hang of it. James and I both had a blast and can't wait to go back. It was a really fun weekend getting to spend time with my future inlaws!

Happy Valentine's Day To Us

After 10 years of bliss it's only going to get better.

James proposed on Valentine's Day. It was quite a surprise. One of our favorite spots has always been the Train Depot, and that's were it happened. I'm all geared up to start planning.

McCall Winter Carnival

In February we went to McCall for the Winter Carnival. It was so fun walking around looking at all the creative ice sculptures. Here we are in the middle of Payette Lake.
